Simple Building

A single, independent traditional residential block, 7 – 9 stories in height, with simple layout and limited fire safety systems and provisions.

Standard Building

An independent block, with anything from 7 – 20 stories with either a single or multiple stair cores OR a building with linked blocks all sharing similar architypes, with fire and life safety systems e.g. engineered/designed smoke control of fire suppression systems. Could have multiple uses e.g. commercial/retail plus residential.

Complex Building

Either a tall building, over 20 stories or other building with more than one block with a complex construction basis (multiple layouts with different architypes), with multiple cores OR complex and varied fire safety systems e.g. engineered/designed smoke control or fire suppression systems and arrangements based on fire engineered approach designed with a stay put or phased evacuation strategy.

Following an initial visit to the building and discussion with the RMC/RTM we design a program of assistance based upon your buildings specific requirements. These include:
